JL Wilson’s latest at the Partial Observer makes a lot of sense: http://partialobserver.com/article.cfm?id=1851
He proposes that candidates run on a promise to cut the federal budget by 10% across the board. Surely, anyone would concede that there is at least 10% of the budget that is wasted or that shouldn’t be a priority. Is there anyone who thinks the budget is not big enough? OK, anybody but Congress?
