Mrs Vache Folle watched John Stossel on the Colbert Report. She reports that John described himself as a “libertarian” but approved of the government’s spying operations. David Friedman http://daviddfriedman.blogspot.com/2006/01/externality-exercise.html has an interesting challenge to his readers. Try doing counterintuitive analyses of externalities, i.e. add up the negatives for things usually seen as positive and vice versa.
